In brief

The DSGVO and your analytics

DSGVO (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung) is the German name for the GDPR. The same regulation applies in Germany as in the rest of the EU.

Alongside it, section 25 of the TDDDG (formerly the TTDSG) sets the rules for storing or reading information on a visitor’s device. Germany’s data protection authorities have published detailed guidance on website tracking.

Built in

Privacy settings you control

Every privacy setting is included in every plan. Turn on what fits your site.

Your data stays on your server

Every visit is stored in your own WordPress database. Visitor data never reaches us or anyone else.

Cookieless by default

No cookies out of the box. Cookie mode is optional and waits for your visitor’s consent.

IP anonymisation

Keep full IP addresses or anonymised ones. You choose.

Automatic data deletion

Choose how long data is kept and older data is deleted for you. We recommend 90 days.

Delete on request

When a visitor asks for their data to be deleted, you can delete their analytics data.

Country lookup on your server

Location is worked out on your own server. Visitors’ IP addresses are never sent to an outside service.

How it works

Where your data goes

Analytics data makes one short trip: from your visitor’s browser to your own WordPress site.

  1. Step 1Visitor’s browserA tracker of 5 KB or less loads in the background. No cookies by default.
  2. Step 2Your WordPress siteRecords the visit. Country lookup and IP anonymisation happen here, on your server.
  3. Step 3Your databaseStored in Analyzine’s own tables and deleted automatically after the period you set.

What reaches Solvix Studio: only your license key and a signature to verify it. Never your visitors’ data.

Questions

Is Analyzine DSGVO-konform?

No plugin is compliant on its own. Compliance depends on how your website collects and uses data. Analyzine gives you the settings that make it easier: data on your own server, cookieless tracking, IP anonymisation and automatic deletion.

What does § 25 TDDDG mean for analytics?

It covers storing or reading information on a visitor’s device, such as cookies. Analyzine’s cookieless mode sets no cookies, and its cookie mode waits for consent. Whether your setup needs consent is for you and your advisor to decide.

Can Solvix Studio see my visitors’ data?

No. Your analytics data stays in your WordPress database. We never receive it.

Can my data stay in Germany?

Analyzine stores data in your own WordPress database, so it stays wherever your host’s servers are.
