In brief

The Loi Informatique et Libertés and your analytics

The Loi Informatique et Libertés (France’s Data Protection Act of 1978, as amended) applies the GDPR in France. Its article 82 sets the cookie rules. The CNIL oversees both.

The CNIL accepts some audience measurement (mesure d’audience) without consent when strict conditions are met: for example, the data is used only to produce anonymous statistics for the site itself, isn’t combined with other data or passed to third parties, and is kept for a limited time.

Privacy settings you control

Every privacy setting is included in every plan. Turn on what fits your site.

Your data stays on your server

Every visit is stored in your own WordPress database. Visitor data never reaches us or anyone else.

Cookieless by default

No cookies out of the box. Cookie mode is optional and waits for your visitor’s consent.

No third-party scripts

Nothing loads from outside your site, and no visitor data goes to advertisers or anyone else.

Automatic data deletion

Choose how long data is kept and older data is deleted for you. We recommend 90 days.

IP anonymisation

Keep full IP addresses or anonymised ones. You choose.

Delete on request

When a visitor asks for their data to be deleted, you can delete their analytics data.

How it works

Where your data goes

Analytics data makes one short trip: from your visitor’s browser to your own WordPress site.

  1. Step 1Visitor’s browserA tracker of 5 KB or less loads in the background. No cookies by default.
  2. Step 2Your WordPress siteRecords the visit. Country lookup and IP anonymisation happen here, on your server.
  3. Step 3Your databaseStored in Analyzine’s own tables and deleted automatically after the period you set.

What reaches Solvix Studio: only your license key and a signature to verify it. Never your visitors’ data.

Questions

Does Analyzine meet the CNIL’s conditions for consent-free audience measurement?

That depends on how you set it up and use it: the CNIL’s conditions cover your purpose and how you inform visitors, not just the tool. Analyzine helps: data stays on your server, nothing is passed to third parties, cookieless tracking and automatic deletion. Check the CNIL’s guidance.

Do I need a cookie banner?

Cookieless mode sets no cookies, and cookie mode waits for consent. Whether any analytics needs consent depends on your setup and the CNIL’s conditions. See Cookie consent.

Can Solvix Studio see my visitors’ data?

No. Your analytics data stays in your WordPress database. We never receive it.
