In brief

What the LGPD means for your analytics

The LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law No. 13,709/2018) is Brazil’s general data protection law, overseen by the ANPD. It applies when personal data is processed in Brazil, collected there, or used to offer goods or services to people there.

Like the GDPR, it needs a legal basis for processing, such as consent or legitimate interest, and follows the principle of necessity: collect only what you need.

Built in

Privacy settings you control

Every privacy setting is included in every plan. Turn on what fits your site.

Your data stays on your server

Every visit is stored in your own WordPress database. Visitor data never reaches us or anyone else.

Cookieless by default

No cookies out of the box. Cookie mode is optional and waits for your visitor’s consent.

IP anonymisation

Keep full IP addresses or anonymised ones. You choose.

Automatic data deletion

Choose how long data is kept and older data is deleted for you. We recommend 90 days.

Delete on request

When a visitor asks for their data to be deleted, you can delete their analytics data.

Country lookup on your server

Location is worked out on your own server. Visitors’ IP addresses are never sent to an outside service.

How it works

Where your data goes

Analytics data makes one short trip: from your visitor’s browser to your own WordPress site.

  1. Step 1Visitor’s browserA tracker of 5 KB or less loads in the background. No cookies by default.
  2. Step 2Your WordPress siteRecords the visit. Country lookup and IP anonymisation happen here, on your server.
  3. Step 3Your databaseStored in Analyzine’s own tables and deleted automatically after the period you set.

What reaches Solvix Studio: only your license key and a signature to verify it. Never your visitors’ data.

Questions

Does the LGPD apply to my website?

It can, if you process personal data of people in Brazil, for example because you sell to them. Check with your legal advisor.

Which legal basis should I use for analytics?

That’s your decision, and it depends on your site and how you use the data. Analyzine’s settings help you collect less, whichever basis you choose.

Can Solvix Studio see my visitors’ data?

No. Your analytics data stays in your WordPress database. We never receive it.
